EAST COBB Branch Donated Face Masks to Local Elementary Schools

On Feb 23, 2021, AYLUS East Cobb learned through the county EMA staff that the local elementary schools in the low income areas are in dire need of face masks to keep the students safe. Nick Vincent volunteered making phone calls and using social media to get the word out – CALWIN Textile is a very large scale industrial fabric supplier, who was able to donate 200 children-sized face masks to the local elementary schools in Cobb & Douglas counties.  Nick and his mom drove over an hour across Atlanta to pick up the donation and delivered it back to the local EMA to distribute the children-sized masks to local schools.  They are searching for additional volunteer organizations to see if they can source more of the face masks for the elementary schoolers in need.
