On December 22, 2020, Faith Huang, David Liu and Emily Sun from AYLUS participated in a Georgia Runoff Elections text banking session with CPACS (the Center for Pan Asian Community Services). The Georgia Runoff Elections are important because the results will also be used to determine who wins the seats for Georgia in Congress.
The volunteers sent out thousands of messages to remind people to vote in the Georgia Runoff Elections and answered questions from the text recipients. Even though the session was conducted online, the volunteers enjoyed socializing with other volunteers and learning more about CPACS as well as the Runoff Election itself.
