During the Career Presentation 1 on Saturday, November 7, Professor Dean Wang presented on nuclear energy to an audience of 20. He discussed nuclear fission, Shippingport, Microreactors, Fukushima, Manhattan Project, and other advancements in nuclear technology, such as the BWR Reactor Building Component.
