East Cobb Branch made Thanksgiving cards for the seniors of local senior centers

On November 25th, 9 members of the East Cobb Branch made Thanksgiving cards for the seniors of local senior centers.

Because of the current pandemic, members were not able to visit the local senior centers to perform music as usual. Instead, the members wanted to do something special such as making cards and crafts for the seniors. Members who participated wrote cards wishing the seniors well and a happy holiday season. Once the cards  were made, some members dropped them off at four different senior centers the day before Thanksgiving. The staff and seniors were overjoyed when the members brought them these cards and crafts. Members felt great knowing that they could still do something nice for their community despite the need for social distancing.

Attendance: Maxwell Jiang (1.5 hours), Katherine Sha  (4 hours), Emilie Cam  (1.5 hours), Jay Pan  (1.5 hours), Emily Sun  (1.5 hours), Faith Huang  (1.5 hours), Jiarong Wang (2.5 hours) , Rachel Li  (2.5 hours), Cynthia Ruan(5 hours)
