On September 2, 2020, volunteers from the Irvine branch of AYLUS hosted its second introductory history class for the fall session. We held the lesson on Zoom, and students, consisting of elementary and middle schoolers, had a great time participating.
Today, we taught the students about the actual course of events of the American Revolution. First starting with a quick review from last class, then we moved on to talking about the founding fathers, the battles in the revolution, as well as analyzing the factors that made the US win. Later we played a video to recap and review. They seem to be focused and enjoying the video.
