Greater Princeton AYLUS Works as Counselors for Children Summer Camp (2nd) on August 18-19, 2020

This week, the “Community Service Team” of the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS continued to work as counselors for a Children’s Summer Camp. This is a great opportunity for GPA volunteers to work with younger kids and teach them about life skills, art and social lessons.

On August 18th, the GPA volunteers played a scavenger hunt game where all the children got to show each other interesting items in their homes. On the 19th, they taught the kids to play skribbl.io together. Later, the counselors led the campers in making a collage. The campers were all very engaged and enjoyed the activities very much.

So far, the camp has been a great success and is the perfect way to help out the community during the pandemic.

Participants (8/18, 2.5 hr; 8/19, 2 hrs for all): Amber Yu, Xiangcheng Ying
