As the annual 4th of July parade canceled due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, AYLUS members Andrea Yu, Patrick Wang, Brenna Li, Rachel Zhu, Gavin Ni, June Ni, Catherine Harman, Angela Zheng, Drean Szablewski, Katie Lu, Andrew Xia, Max Li, Kevin Wang, Erica Shen and Angelika-Lili Susanto took it upon themselves to bring some American spirit to their neighborhoods. Members created colorful and patriotic signs to place in their front yards in hopes of putting a smile on someone’s face as well as uplift moods. This year’s 4th of July has certainly become more historical, making it a day to remember.
