On May 31, 2020, Greater Princeton branch of AYLUS (GPA) started the “Adopt a Park” Environmental Program by going to the Plainsboro Preserve to perform their volunteer service. During this time, they did a “forest sweep” along the trails. There were many people just dropping non-disposable trash, which is very harmful to the environment. GPA members collected those trash and later had them disposed of appropriately. This activity enables students to improve their community while following social distance rules.
Participants (3 hours for all): Abigail Bao, Fengqi Wen, Steven Li, and Xin Chen.
