On May 10, the Sugar Land Branch continued its music tutoring program. This week’s lesson focused on music theory and its applications to violin playing. Basic concepts of music theory including time signature, counting, musical symbols, and other rhythmic aspects of music reading were covered during the session. Several exercises were taught which combined previous weeks’ instruction with new knowledge.
