On March 15, 2020 from 9:00pm to 11:00pm (two hours), members from the Phoenix AYLUS branch met at the Veterans Oasis Park in order to help clean up the park. Unfortunately, because of the COVID-19, member turnout has been lower than typical. However, not only was this an opportunity to keep optimistic during a confined time by performing good deeds for our community, but also a chance to practice social distancing. This helps slow the spread of COVID-19, helping keep our community happy and healthy. In retrospect, this event will help the community in the long run as we look forward to what the future holds for our branch.
