On March 9, 2020, the Phoenix branch launched a project called 1+5. The one represents a simple donation of any of the following from tissues, clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol, etc. to a public place such as your school, the library, or post office. The 5 represents spreading awareness to 5 people or places or simply putting 5 flyers around in your community, educating others about COVID-19, ways to prevent it, and even how to properly wash your hands.
With this project, the Phoenix Branch hopes to help the community through these simple actions and help alleviate the ongoing situation with COVID-19.
