On 29 February 2020, the East Cobb Branch of AYLUS held an East Cobb Youth Tutoring program at Mountain View Library. Nicholas Vincent and Larry Cai helped tutor six kids.
The East Cobb Branch holds the Youth Tutoring program every Saturday during school days, giving kids in the Cobb area an opportunity to receive help. The interaction between tutors and students also makes learning more enjoyable.
All of the students that attended were in either elementary or middle school. They came in with questions about different subjects such as math and reading. When some students did not show up, the tutors volunteered to help around the library.
The tutors helped each individual kid accomplish what they came in for. Not only did the kids leave satisfied, but the tutors also left satisfied knowing they spent their time helping others.
Attendance: Nick Vincent (2 hours), Larry Cai (2 hours)
