AYLUS Columbus Branch ended with a remarkable last performance of the decade on December 21, 2019 at the Dublin Retirement Village. This time volunteers Amy Xuan, Kyle Xuan, Eileen Liang, Andrea Yu, Rachel Zhu, Joseph Lin, Nicole Lin, Albert Bao, Kevin Hong, Joey Kowatch, and Eric Lin, prepared an abundance of solos and duets featuring mainly christmas pieces to match the festive time. The star on top of the tree would have to be the first brass ensemble to ever perform in the five years that AYLUS Columbus Branch has been performing at the retirement village. With Joey Kowatch on the tuba and Eric Lin on the trumpet, they brought a new dimension between the layers of string and piano pieces typically played. We are so thankful for all the opportunities of the past year and aspire to accomplish even more going in to 2020.
