On December 6, members of AYLUS Sugar Land volunteered for 4 hours at the 17th annual Sugar Land Christmas Tree Lighting event. The event, which included a tribute to the 60th birthday of the city, involved many booths, stands, and attractions.
Members distributed markers and candy canes at a booth at which kids wrote and colored letters to Santa Claus, later directing them to a mailbox where they could mail their letters. After the event, members helped with taking down the booths and cleaning up.
