East Cobb Branch ‘Give A Hand’—YMCA Spooktacular Festival on Oct.25, 2019

On October 25, 2019, members of the East Cobb Branch volunteered at the local YMCA’s Spooktacular festival. There were 6 members that participated.

Before the festival started, members helped set up the games, pump up inflatables, and fill up festival bags. At the festival, members were assigned to manage different games, such as hoop tossing, mini golf, and skee ball. Members got to see the children dressed up in various Halloween costumes. The children were excited and interested in the activities, and many of them came back to play the games more than once.

After the event ended, members helped put away tables, pick up trash, and carry leftover supplies to a storage room. All the members felt very happy to see the youthful smiles on the children’s faces and had a great time.

Attendance: Cynthia Ruan (4.5 hours), Faith Huang (4.5 hours), Gary Mei (4.5 hours), Nick Vincent (4.5 hours), Albert Wu (4.5 hours), Iris Liu (3.5 hours)
