Saturday, August 24, 2019, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Cary AYLUS volunteered for the Raleigh branch of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. Among other volunteers, they sorted and bagged potatoes in 5-pound servings. These bags of potatoes will be sent to smaller distributors, who will then reach food-insecure families.
At the end of that three hour period, the amount of potatoes packaged by all of the volunteers in that time will provide about 15,019 meals for those in need.
