On Sunday, June 23, 2019, Greater Princeton AYLUS, NJ Branch (GPA) went to Channing Hall in Princeton to prepare it for the upcoming Benefit “Music From The Heart, You Could Save A Life” Performance, scheduled for Saturday afternoon, June 29, 2019.
Beneficiary: Wei Su, a professional teacher for 20 years in Princeton area. She was diagnosed with cancer and had surgery in 2018. A new tumor later showed up; to cut it out might cause death. Although she has no income or family for support, Wei always faces everything positively with big smiles. No matter how long her life will be, she lives every day as wonderful as can be. She will donate her body to serve the medical field. Many thanks to everyone for the support and effort to help her fight cancer, and she is to do her best to return the love people give her!
Together with the West Windsor Council Vice-President Dr. Yingchao Zhang, three GPA leaders visited Channing Hall (50 Cherry Hill Rd., Princeton, NJ 08540) at 11:30 am. Within 2 hours (11:30 am to 1:30 pm), they talked to Mr. Bill Gillun, person in charge of the Channing Hall facility, checked for its capacity (up to 275 people), Grand Piano for right tuning (perfect!), Robinson Lounge for performers to get prepared, and the most important In-House Sound System for music playing, as well as light and Air Conditioning systems, etc.
Participants: Cassie Tammy Wang, Lan (Lana) Cheng, and Amy Lin
Students, their parents and friends are welcome to the Benefit Music Performance on Saturday, June 29! Entrance to the Channing Hall opens at 1:00 pm. Even if you can not make it in person, the link of donation for Ms. Su is available at: rescuemusic.org
THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT!
