Emily Zhong, a rising junior at Canyon Crest Academy High School in San Diego and a member of the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States San Diego Branch, collected 1,070 water bottles between August 19, 2018 and January 5, 2019 and donated $53.75 to the San Diego Brain Injury Foundation.
Emily collected the bottles at tennis courts, senior centers, and school playgrounds. She exchanged the bottles for cash at Ralph recycle center in Carmel Valley.
