In celebration of Veteran’s Day, Fort Bend Branch salutes heroes by helping with the ceremony in the city. We came to Memorial Park for our volunteer effort. Sugar Land Memorial Park was dedicated in 2007 in honor of veterans from Sugar Land and Fort Bend County, Texas. The entry to the park includes a ring of flags representing all of the branches of the military. We helped clean up the Remembrance Tower area before the ceremony was held. It was a tiresome day but we were happy to be able to honor and remember services from our soldiers.
