On June 24th the Metro Detroit branch members volunteered at the Color Me Extraordinary 5k run in Auburn Hills, which was held by Easterseals. The purpose of the run is the raise money to help the disabled. Our members helped with the registration and distribution of shirts. After the race, our members helped pack up equipment and tents. This was the third time that the Metro Detroit Branch partnered with the Easter Seals organization for volunteer activities. We had a fantastic time volunteering at this event and look forward to working with them again in the future. The members who participated in this event were Jason Nie, Matthew Yao, Jeremy Liu, Justin Luo, James Li, Shannon Li, Katherine Zhao, and Anna ji.
