On Friday, December 18th, members of Manhasset branch sent the food collected to Island Harvest food bank on Long Island.
Food drive is a great way to bring warmth to your community. When we enjoy Christmas or any other holiday, many people were not capable of experiencing those. This December we learned a lot from the food drive. We saw there were barely any donations in the food bank we went to and I felt sad. Not only should we donate food during holiday seasons, but normal days of the year as well.
