On November 28, 2015, the members of AYLUS of Silicon Valley Branch hosted a Food Drive to help those in need. We then delivered the donations to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara County on November 30, 2015.
We initially tried running the Food Drive in front of shops, but then decided to collect food donation from local neighbors. During the event, we separated our members into two groups for collecting foods.The event lasted around two hours and turned to be a huge success and most of the residents appreciated our efforts and donated their food.
The members were very excited about the outcome and got huge success to get the foods, and also have scheduled another food sorting activity at Second Harvest Food Bank on Dec 22, 2015
