How to Submit Videos?
MathCircleOnline (MCO) accepts all types of math problemsolving and tutorial videos. The videos acceptedwill be used for public services only.
How to Count the Community Service Hour?
- Students can only display their videos while reserving the ownershipof the videos. For this situation, MCOwill only honor the time used to upload and communicate with the MCO managementteam as community service time (typically one hour).
- For the student produce the video soling for MCO andtransfer the ownership to the video to MCO, MCO will honor the actual time usedto produce and deliver the video as community service hours.
How to Produce and Deliver the Video?
MCO will release a 5 – 10 seconds video cover. For all videos will transfer the ownership toMCO, they should include this video cover. Student can deliver the video in two ways:
- If student can access to YouTube, please load the video toYoutube and post the link in MCO forum Do It Yourself section. Our volunteers will list the video on MCOpage according to its category.
- If student does not have YouTube account, student can emailthe video with brief description of the producer to secretary@mathcircleonline.org
How to Avoid Duplicated Production?
In order to prevent duplication of production, if you areinterested in making a video for MathCircleOnline.Org , please contact ouradviser Kevin Wu at adviser@mathcircleonline.org with your information which include yourname, grade level, and which topic would like to make.
