On August 21, 2015, Sugar Land, TX Branch members, Lauren Yang and Karen Yang, had the privilege of meeting with Annise Parker, the mayor of Houston for the past 5 years. For the brief meeting, they explained the purpose and motto of AYLUS, and she supported the idea of the youth taking charge and making a difference. A huge thank you to Mayor Parker for taking time out of her day to meet with Lauren and Karen!
