Description of the San Francisco South Bay Branch
San Francisco South Bay Branch was established by Shannon Guo, Willow Hsu and Ethan Lin.
The San Francisco South Bay Branch of the Alliance of Youth Leaders is designed to promote leadership and community-building skills throughout a student’s entire high school life and more. As days get busier and busier, giving back to the community gets harder and harder. At school, students consistently talk about community service hours and how they are inconvenient to do or interfere with more critical school work. Through this branch, the students will work together to form bonds with the community and learn to give back to any group wherever they are. No matter how busy, giving back to a community is essential, and in this San Francisco South Bay Branch, we want to enforce that ideal as we go around town helping others. We will exercise our leadership, organization, and service skills by attending many different events such as tutoring, donating, and trash collecting to help make the environment we live in healthier and more robust. Students who join the San Francisco South Bay Branch will grow as students and as young adults who will change the world.
