On 10/29/22, the Metro Detroit Branch successfully completed the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Event. The walk was held as a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association to help create awareness and gather support to further increase research towards the study of Alzheimer’s. The members of the Metro Detroit Branch volunteered to help the organizers welcome the participants of the event. The Branch also helped properly clean up the site after the event was over. The members organized boxes and transported supplies to a U-Haul truck. The members of the branch who helped in the event were Brenden Niu and Dina Guo. The members hope that this event shows the power respect, care, and graciousness has on everyone.
