Description of the Holmdel & Hazlet Branch
We provide students with a multitude of volunteer opportunities as well as encourage them to give back to the community. The core goal of this branch is helping the less fortunate alongside the overall development of our community. Some ways we aim to do this are by volunteering at food banks and running drives for nearby shelters. We would like to use each other’s strengths to run enjoyable activities, including putting on an art show to raise money, crocheting clothes and toys for children, and playing music in nursing homes. Another way in which we would like to better our community is by maintaining a clean and healthy environment. Some actions we could take towards this comprise organizing beach and park cleanups, as well as eco-bricking. Our branch aims to bring easier-access opportunities to everyone and build a strong, welcoming, and united community. Overall, we wish to create a community based on teamwork and cooperation through the Holmdel branch.
