AYLUS Volunteers Complete Tech Training for Dublin City’s City Nature Challenge
On Friday April 7th, volunteers from AYLUS-Columbus completed tech and presentation training in preparation for Dublin City’s participation in the national City Nature Challenge, which will take place from April 28th-May 1st. Volunteers learned how to use the iNaturalist app which will be used to collect citizen science data to be reviewed in the national event. Over the course of April – Earth Month – volunteers will be raising awareness and promoting the City Nature Challenge by running stands at several Earth Month events organized by the Dublin City in the subsequent weeks. We will also be promoting the City Nature Challenge within AYLUS. This will be Dublin’s first official year in participating in the City Nature Challenge, and we hope to double Central Ohio’s numbers from last year!
