On August 24th, 2023, three students in Chatham, NJ founded the 143rd branch of the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS): Chatham, NJ.

Description of the Chatham Branch
We are dedicated to improving our town. We hope to embrace a profound commitment to cultivating a secure haven and a shared sense of belonging in our town. Our dedication is to fostering a safe environment, prioritizing the wellness of the town. We aim to collaborate closely with our members, loving our community, hoping to forge relationships with businesses, schools, and centers, addressing concerns proactively. We would love to build closer relationships with the town as well as our members. We are dedicated to helping our members feel welcomed and useful in our branch, as well as helping them become great volunteers. As volunteers, we hope to personify the spirit of Chatham’s unity and progress, working together to create a positive change. Through our actions, we hope to leave a lasting mark on our town, illustrating the power of collective dedication and fostering a stronger, safer community for all.
