The Description of Syosset Branch
The Syosset branch of AYLUS is founded by 3 junior students who are currently attending Syosset High School in Long Island, New York. The local branch was founded on February 27th, 2016 after the founders discussed the future directions of our branch. The founders are: Joyce Cai, Natalie Lo, and Emily Dai. We look forward to constantly and passionately participate in AYLUS activities as well as those created by ourselves in the nearby future. Our volunteer service directs at providing kids/teens with help through various methods such as tutoring and web-chatting. The relationship between community and its habitants is not one giving and one receiving, but is in fact both giving and both benefiting. Therefore, as habitants of Syosset, we believe that it is our responsibility to try our best to benefit the local community. In the end, Syosset welcomes all who desire to join us to improve the quality of lives among the people of our community!
