On February 14th, AYLUS members volunteered at the local food bank from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, assisting with various organizational and distribution tasks. They systematically sorted and reorganized canned goods, including vegetables, fruits, fish, beans, meat, soups, and rice, before placing them on designated shelves. Additionally, they folded and prepared used plastic bags for reuse.
Following the reorganization, the volunteers assisted in packaging fresh produce, such as eggs, fruits, and vegetables, into smaller boxes for distribution. They also contributed to unloading and organizing donations received from local supermarkets.
At the end of their shift, the members helped clean the facility by tidying up tables and floors, ensuring a well-maintained and efficient workspace for future operations.
