Chapel Hill Branch Volunteers to Collect Flower Donations on Nov 24, 2024

On Sunday, November 24, 2024, two members of AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch helped support Charles House by collecting flowers generously donated by Trader Joe’s. These beautiful blooms were delivered to Charles House, a nonprofit that provides care for seniors and those with dementia within the Carol Woods Retirement Community. The flowers will be used in a creative art project with the seniors on Monday, brightening their day and encouraging creativity. We had an abundance of extra flowers, so we decided to bring them all to Charles House. Although there was a delay after our call, we used the extra time to arrange the flowers at the front of the facility. This effort is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the health and happiness of the elderly, and we look forward to more opportunities to give back.

Volunteers who participated in this event were Eric Sun (2.5 hours) and Shuang Li (2.5 hours).
