On Saturday, January 27, Murrieta AYLUS members participated in the A Brush with Kindness program.
The volunteers set up tarps around the home, taping down paper and taping up the edges to make sure the work was clean. Careful to cut around the edges of the windows and doors, the volunteers spread out to paint the walls. After finishing one area they’d move over to the next, covering the other side of the house’s porch as well. Taking a short break and chatting, they then went back to work checking the edges near the ground. After the edges, they replaced their blue paint with white to paint the stairs of the porch, before cleaning up.
