On April 22, a group of eight students from the AYLUS East Cobb Branch attended the Share a Light Award ceremony at Will’s Park in Alpharetta. Sixteen members of our branch were recognized and received the award for their exceptional community service.
The ceremony allowed participants from various organizations to be acknowledged for their efforts in aiding their community. As part of the event, students from each organization had the opportunity to share how their work had impacted the lives of others. Three students spoke on behalf of our award recipients. Sean presented the organizational structure of AYLUS and the development of the East Cobb Branch. Samuel shared the volunteer activities we had organized in the past year and the positive impact they had on our community. Finally, Albert expressed gratitude on behalf of all the award recipients, thanking the Sino-USA Next Generation Foundation and emphasizing the importance and significance of volunteerism for the growth and development of young people.
