EB Day is a celebration in which organizations and businesses of East Brunswick gather to promote themselves and have fun! On October 9th, 2022, the Raritan Valley branch of Alliance of Youth Leaders decided to participate in this event. In the morning, volunteers came together to set up the stand and tent. Then in the afternoon, we sold Asian snacks such as marble drinks and rice cookies while also handing out flyers to advertise the organization. We gave out free lollipops to visitors and free pizza to any volunteer that came to help out.
All proceeds went to Replenish, a food drive based in East Brunswick. Volunteers were able to interact with visitors and develop lifelong communication, presentational, and businesslike skills.
