In collaboration with Global Leaders Academy, West Essex AYLUS members are working to provide a younger audience with opportunities to interact with the game of Quizbowl. Quizbowl offers an environment that empowers students by encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and rapid recall of knowledge across a wide range of subjects. Students were taught about the history of the Roman Republic and the literature of Ray Bradbury, including the classic novel Fahrenheit 451. Then, students played engaging scrimmage games in a fun and supportive environment where they could develop confidence in their academic abilities and find joy in learning beyond the classroom.
