In collaboration with Global Leaders Academy, West Essex AYLUS members are working to provide a younger audience with opportunities to interact with the game of Quizbowl. Quizbowl offers an environment that empowers students by encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and rapid recall of knowledge across a wide range of subjects.
On Monday, as a new group of students joined the lessons, volunteers split up to organize two lesson groups. Newcomers were given an introduction to the structure of the game, while more experienced players were given lessons on mathematics and literature. Each session was wrapped up with a full game of Quizbowl, where students were eager to begin competing.
