On November 5th, 2023, Seven Lakes High School radiated with warmth and goodwill as AYLUS Houston hosted a Halloween Candy Donation Drive aimed at bringing joy to children in Mexico. The event not only repurposed surplus Halloween treats but also united the community in a collective act of kindness that transcended borders.
AYLUS Houston’s commitment to fostering empathy and global awareness was evident as volunteers passionately encouraged their peers, families, and community members to contribute to the cause. The collected candies, a colorful assortment of sweets, reflected the generosity and diversity of the Seven Lakes community.
Volunteers worked with enthusiasm, sorting and packaging the candies into bundles destined for children in Mexico. Each package became a token of goodwill, carrying the joy and excitement of Halloween across borders to those who might not have had the opportunity to experience the festivities themselves.
