On December 11th, AYLUS-Chapel Hill once again helped Meals on Wheels, a group fighting senior hunger. Chapel Hill members baked and packed over a hundred cookies together, showing great teamwork. They’re proud of what they did and plan to do even more volunteers to join them. These special cookies were made just for Meals on Wheels, to bring not just food but also happiness to seniors. The volunteers, working from their kitchens, wanted to make sure seniors get the good stuff they need. AYLUS-Chapel Hill hopes their simple acts of kindness inspire others in the community to do good things too.
Volunteers who participate in this event are April Zhang (4 hrs), Karen Lin (3 hrs), Zhiyuan Xu (6 hrs), Ethan Li (ECHHS – 4 hrs), Alan Gao (1 hr), Leo Gao (1 hr), and Nicholas Wang (wrapping – 1 hr)
