On October 30, the Chapel Hill Branch members collaborated to create heart pillows for cancer patients. This heartwarming project was designed to bring comfort to individuals battling cancer. The handmade items will be distributed to cancer patients in hospitals, with the intention of offering them emotional support and a physical symbol of our community’s compassion. Our branch is committed to making this a recurring community effort to consistently share love and comfort with those confronting cancer in our region.
Volunteers who participated in this event were Owen Xie (6 hours), Karen Lin(6 hours), Nicholas Wang (3 hours), and Luna Chen (6 hours).
