In a recent volunteer event, the members of AYLUS Chaple Hill branch gathered to craft mini crochet hearts for patients to keep as cherished reminders of our care. These adorable hearts, designed to fit in wallets or bags, also double as good luck charms for medical appointments. This simple gift aimed to provide emotional support and positivity to patients in their healthcare journey. In a parallel effort, our volunteers packed donated handmade items destined for patients in need through Kits to Heart. These items, carefully prepared, will bring comfort and warmth to individuals facing medical challenges.
Volunteers who participated in this event are Eric Sun (6 hours) and Nicholas Wang (1.5 hours).
