During the month of September, members of the Chapel Hill branch participated in a youth mental health survey that was organized by Brenna Li, our AYLUS mental health committee chair. September is marked as Suicide Prevention Month, and it’s important to be able to spread awareness throughout our community during this time. To do so, members filled out a survey to help provide a picture of how mental health looks in the youth today. We hope that by partaking in this event, we are contributing to improving the state of mental well-being within our society.
Volunteers who participated in this event are Nicholas Wang (2 hrs), Eric Sun (2hrs), Ethan Li (1 hr), Kathryne Hong (2 hrs), April Zhang (2 hrs), Matthew Guo (1 hr), Owen Xie (1 hr), Karen Lin (1 hr), and Grace Gao (1 hr)
