On Tuesday, July 25th: The residents had been moved outside, and the volunteers jumped to take them around the courtyard in light walks. They grabbed glasses of water when the residents grew tired, before going inside to prepare the snack for the day. As per usual, they cut peach slices, and topped the chunks with some applesauce. For the residents who couldn’t eat the solid food, the volunteers spoon fed applesauce. After passing out cups of orange juice for them to enjoy, the volunteers read the daily chronicle together, before speaking with a few of the residents in casual conversation until lunch arrived.

On Friday, July 28th: The residents enjoyed warmer weather outside as the volunteers took a few of them on walks. They noticed a few scratches on the leg of a resident and notified a caretaker, before preparing the morning snack while the residents exercised. Small cups were filled with peach, strawberry, blueberries, and cantaloupe before they were passed out to residents, while some who were unable to eat the solid snack were fed yogurt by the volunteers. After the cups were retrieved they transitioned to reading the daily chronicle, before ending the day with more walks around the courtyard. Once the lunch was ready, the residents were transported to the dining room, and the volunteers bid goodbye.

On Sunday, July 30th: The residents exercised to light music, taking extra time to stretch out their arms and ankles. After the workout the volunteers took a poll for drinks and the residents hydrated. While the cups were cleared, the residents were led through the daily chronicle. The volunteers shared light conversation with some of the residents, before preparing them to go outside. Since the sun had come out, the residents were taken on light walks, passing the time while enjoying the fresh air before being taken over to the dining hall. As the residents began settling to eat lunch, the volunteers bid goodbye.
