On June fifth, the College Station branch of AYLUS volunteered at the Brazos Valley Food Bank for a two-hour session from 10 am to 12 pm. Their objective was to create meal packages to assist individuals facing poverty and economic hardship in the community. The dedicated AYLUS volunteers worked collaboratively to assemble these packages, aiming to combat food insecurity and provide much-needed support to those in need. Through their efforts, they aimed to make a positive impact by addressing the pressing issue of hunger in the local area.
The following members volunteered for two hours each: Ethan Wang, Justin Palazzolo, Rowan Seipp, Andrew Li, and Abigail Rhee.
