On Sunday, June 4th, 2023, the Columbus AYLUS branch went to volunteer at the Dublin Giving Garden at Coffman Park from 5 to 6pm. This was the second session of the season.
The volunteers spent quite some time watering the garden, as the sign-in sheet showed that the garden had not been watered for 4 days in the hot weather. They also removed weeds inside the garden and in the vicinity. The vegetables, such as tomato, squash and green bean were overall growing well. Careful attention was provided as to not damage the plants, either through overwatering or trampling. The weeds were properly placed inside the provided lawn bags.
