On May 13th, Ed White students and AYLUS volunteers came together to celebrate the end of another successful school year. The event was filled with excitement and fun activities for everyone to enjoy.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the twist balloon station, where talented AYLUS Pearland volunteers showcased their skills by creating colorful and intricate balloon sculptures. Children and adults alike marveled at the amazing creations, from animals to flowers.
Another popular attraction was the temporary tattoo booth, where students could choose from a wide selection of designs to adorn their skin temporarily. From intricate tribal patterns to favorite cartoon characters, the volunteers expertly applied the tattoos, adding a touch of flair to the festivities.
The air was filled with the delightful aroma of freshly spun cotton candy. Volunteers worked tirelessly at the cotton candy stand, spinning colorful sugar threads onto cones, creating fluffy, sweet treats that melted in everyone’s mouths. The students indulged in the sugary delight, their faces lighting up with joy. The longest wait line is here.
The celebration was not only a way to mark the end of the school year but also an opportunity for the Ed White students and AYLUS volunteers to come together, forge the friendships, and create lasting memories. As the event came to a close, the students left with hearts full of happiness and gratitude, eagerly looking forward to future events and collaborations with AYLUS.
