AYLUS Basking Ridge Branch officers Ethan Zhang and Olivia Chen visited Good Grief, 38 Elm St, Morristown, NJ 07960, and had a Prep meeting with their staffs on 4/7/2023. Since 2004, Good Grief has been providing unlimited and free support to children, teens, young adults, and families after the death of a mother, father, sister, or brother through peer support programs, education, and advocacy. 5k Run and Walk is the biggest fundraising event of Good Grief. Each year, about a thousand people participate in the event. AYLUS Basking Ridge Branch will provide on-site volunteer fundraising to the 5k event in cooperation with Good Grief this year.
During the Prep meeting, Jeremy, development officer of Good Grief gave AYLUS BR officers a tour of the home center and presentation of the program. Volunteer details and the goal of the event had been discussed during the meeting.
