AYLUS Pearland held an origami workshop on Saturday, March 11th, from 4:15 pm to 6:00 pm at the Pearland Westside Library. The workshop was open to the public and had the objective of promoting the upcoming community egg hunt event.
With the guidance of instructor Mrs. Ding, volunteers selected spring-themed designs like rabbits and flowers, and learned the art of origami through YouTube videos, while working alongside the children at the library. The workshop was designed to help prepare volunteers for upcoming events in April, while also promoting these events within the community.
At the end of the workshop, volunteers gave away all the origami they had made to the children at the library, as well as promoting the upcoming community egg hunt event. This interactive workshop provided a fun way to engage with the community while promoting the upcoming events and left a positive impact on those who participated.
