AYLUS Chapel Hill, a community service organization, has been actively involved in various Kits to Heart initiatives lately. One of their recent activities was sending a surplus of origami to Kits to Heart Headquarters in Maryland. This gesture was aimed at supporting the organization’s efforts in uplifting the spirits of hospitalized children by providing them with art kits and other essentials.
In addition to this, the AYLUS Chapel Hill branch made their monthly drop-off at the UNC Cancer Hospital, where they met with Beth, the volunteer operation manager. During the meeting, the group discussed future improvements and suggestions for donation boxes, which would enable them to better meet the needs of patients at the hospital. The members of the branch were delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to the hospital’s mission of providing compassionate care to patients.
Overall, the Kits to Heart activities undertaken by AYLUS Chapel Hill have been an excellent opportunity for the group to give back to their community while also making a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. The members of the organization expressed great satisfaction and happiness in their involvement in these initiatives, and they look forward to continuing their efforts to serve the community.
