On Wednesday afternoon, members of our branch picked up trash and dry branches along the greenway to restore the forest and to prevent people from being tripped over. Volunteers wanted to protect the environment, starting at cleaning up spaces around them. Plastic bottles and small pieces of junks are easily found along the walkway, which can be a serious hazard for pets and other local animals living in the woods. The removal of junks also keeps the trail clean and verdant, giving people a sense of refreshment and comfort.
